Can I customize the button layout?

Yes, we use a fully programmable, custom-made control board in all our arcades. This control board is fully programmable via the included Arcade Interface Programmer utility. The software included with each of our arcades is pre-configured and ready to use, but if you have any questions our support team is ready to help.

You can normally access the Arcade Interface Programmer utility by holding the red "Exit" button on your control panel for 3 seconds then pressing the blue "Select" button when it prompts to "Exit to Windows" on the right side of the screen. From here you can use your track ball and 2 buttons above it as a mouse and navigate to the program on the left side of the desktop that says "Arcade Interface Programmer", it will have a player 1 button as the icon. It will look like the images attached to this article.

Pressing "Advanced Controls" will allow you to modify the button inputs. Each button or joystick movement has 2 different keys, ensure to modify the top option to adjust the output of the button press. To save the change go to the buttons tab at the top of the program and select "Set as Current Layout" and "Set as Default Layout". To revert changes back to default go back to "Simple Mode" and press the "Reset Controls" button on the bottom of the window.

Either turn off and on the machine again or select the "Dream Arcades" program on the left side of the screen with the Dream Arcades logo to open the arcade menu again.
