Just plug it in and start enjoying your favorite game. Our arcade game system takes a moment to load into our custom menu where you can choose between multiple arcade game ROMs and start any game. We've even designed the shipping box so it easily lifts off of our arcade game machines, no box cutter required.
Yes, the titles are emulated, which means these arcade games use the exact same coding as the original arcades. This allows them to play just like you remember. Even the glitches and cheats on those classic arcade games still work. For example, if you used a pattern to avoid the ghost in Pac-man it works on our arcades. Know the spot to sit in Centipede where you'll never die, sit there and rack up the high score on your Dreamcade®.
Unlike some other bootleg game machines, our games always displayed in the correct aspect ratio. They never appear stretched or squashed.
We can install the arcade games listed on the product page, as these are all licensed titles. We usually have additional licensed games that are not listed on our website due to limited quantities, call to inquire. But remember, you can always add additional games to your arcade game system once it arrives via our exclusive Retro-Reload search engine, which allows you to add games with a single click.
In the unlikely event you have a problem with your arcade game system or games, please fill out a support ticket so we can assist you. We offer Best-in-Class chat, phone, & email support--we can even remotely connect to your arcade to assist if needed.

The non-profit Internet Archive, the largest internet library, has a huge collection of thousands of original classic arcade games free for download. We also suggest using Google to search for additional arcade game ROMS. Rarely a MAME ROM web site may try to infect your PC with a virus and some offer arcade game ROMS that the owner doesn't wish to be distributed. While Google tries to automatically block these sites, when in question we recommend avoiding questionable arcade game ROMs by using our tools for adding games that are built into each arcade. Our arcades contain proprietary programming that make adding arcade game ROMs as simple as clicking on a download link, while protecting your arcade game system from viruses. Additionally, our arcades play PC games, such as Sega and the Midway Arcade game collections, which are often available at retailers like Walmart and Amazon.
The table top arcade's tabletop measures 35 1/4 inches (L) by 22 1/2 inches (W).
When placing your order you can check whether or not you'd like side art with your arcade gaming cabinet. If you order side art it is not pre-installed because it can be damaged in shipping due to excessive rubbing. It is a PVC material and can be easily self-installed. Also, Dream Arcades® offers a full range of custom artwork.
All of our pre-built arcade systems are built to exacting specifications. However, we are happy to provide any customizations, even custom game programming. Please call or e-mail us with your arcade game system requests and we’ll provide you with a custom estimate.
In the unlikely event your arcade game system isn't working properly when delivered, call or e-mail us immediately and one of our support techs will assist you. We offer phone and e-mail support for the first six months. Once out of warranty, please fill out a support ticket. We typically respond within 1 business day. Most issues will be handled via e-mail.
Yes, we have a full-time programmer and engineer on staff. We have designed retro games as well as worked with outside game developers for companies like Microsoft, Atari, and ZeptoLab. We specialize in retro 8-bit style classic games. Our games will get your company noticed!
Yes, we use a fully programmable, custom-made control board in all our home arcade cabinets. This controller is fully programmable via the included utility. The software included with each of our arcades is pre-configured and ready use. But if you have any questions our support team is ready to help.

Arcade games for MAME, commonly called arcade ROMS, are files that contain the exact programming code downloaded from the original arcade.
Because arcade game ROMS use the original program code, they play just like the original arcade games. For example if you used a pattern to avoid the ghost in Pac-man it will still work. These arcade ROMs play just like they did on the classic video arcades. Know the spot to sit in Centipede where you'll never die? Sit there and rack up the high score on your Dreamcade®.
Yes, in addition to arcade game ROMS, you can play most arcade style games on your Dream Arcade®. Some games, for example The Sims, require a mouse; the arcade's built-in trackball will function as a mouse allowing you to play these games on your arcade. With a few exceptions, any PC game that meets the system requirements should play on your arcade game system. If you want us to check a game, just drop us an e-mail.
Yes, for an additional fee we can upgrade your computer's harddrive or memory. However, the included PC's specs are easily fast enough to play most arcade games from the late 70's through mid-90's.
Yes, we have shipped as far as Antarctica. However, shipping costs to foreign countries can be prohibitive. If you'd like a shipping quote, just email us with your complete address as well as the style arcade you are interested in.
We do ship to Canada and Hawaii. Actually, we work with specific shipping companies that offer special rates for shipping to these destinations. However, the cost varies based on your location, so please e-mail us with the type of MAME arcade cabinet you are looking for as well as your complete address for a custom shipping quote.
We try to keep each of our home arcade systems in stock and we ship every Friday. However, due to strong demand some models can go on backorder. Also, some upgrades can increase the time it takes to test and ship your arcade game system. If you need your arcade for a special event or occasion, please call us before ordering to confirm we can fulfill your request. Additionally, shipments to beyond points (rural locations, islands, etc) can take an extra day or two to reach their destination and may not qualify for flat rate shipping.
Each arcade is shipped in a custom triple-wall box with over an inch of padding. When your arcade arrives, customers are provided at least ten minutes to inspect it and note any damage on the airbill. If you can't inspect the arcade, or see any damage to the box, simply list "possible damage" on the airbill. All tables are fully insured, so in the unlikely event that your table is damaged we will handle the claim. The customer may be required to work with the shipping company to arrange for pickup of the arcade game system. However, as long as you noted possible damage, we'll handle all the paperwork and send you a replacement arcade right away. Even if the shipper denies our claim, we'll fix or replace your arcade game system without delay.
